The ROTOVAC has powerful stainless steel cleaning heads which rotate at 250 RPM. Each head is fitted with three vacuum slots & three solution jets. Every minute the machine produces 1500 mulitdirectional passes over the carpet. In comparison, a technician using a wand can only make 60 two-directional passes per minute.
The patented dome-shaped design of the cleaning head completely encapsulates the spray jets and vacuum slots to create a “steam chamber” effect in the cleaning zone. This powerful combination of heat, agitation, and multiple flushing action provides a superior cleaning force.
The cleaning heads also rotate in opposite directions. This allows for a “back & forth” scrubbing action in multiple directions that wand cleaning just can’t match.
